Coach Moran is the current Head Coach at Southwestern High School (IN) and a previous Head Coach for Wow Factor Stoppers. Last season, he completed his ninth season at the high school varsity level and his 30th season overall.

He previously served as a varsity assistant at Deerfield (IL) and Grayslake North (IL) for nine seasons, with a focus on catching, pitching, and hitting. Before Grayslake North, Coach Moran coached nearly every level of baseball, from 9U through American Legion.

Coach Moran played baseball at Wayne State College (NE) at the Division II level.
